TOPIC: Cannot install DT Register on the website

The component works fine for subdomains originally installed on my current server, but when I moved another website from other host to the current server, installation of the component failed. I got an error message "There was an error uploading this file to the server."

When I tried to install the component from a directory, I got another error message " JInstaller: :Install: Cannot find XML setup file. Path does not have a valid package." I checked the path and the package - everything looks normal.

Looks like configurations for this particular subdomain are different than others on my server. I compared configuration files - they are similar.

Could somebody advice me how to fix my issue?

It would be something tied specifically to that site. Most likely you need to modify the PHP configuration to have a larger setting for upload_max_filesize. It should be greater than 2M.

The upload_max_filesize is 20MB on my host.
