In working on building up a Joomla 2.5 site, I had migrated over the registration database from my 1.5 site. In recent weeks I have run 20-30 test transactions through as I clean up issues. I have not really paid much attention to the records backend, as I have been focused on cleaning up front end issues.

Went to review records and clean out the test transactions, and I am unable to view them in the backend. I have gone through and checked permissions, sync'd groups, etc., to no avail. The only records I can view in the backend are from a single event that were migrated over (not entered as test transactions).

I know the new transactions are there, as I can see them through the CB online registration plugin in the front end.

Any ideas?

This issue is caused by one of two things.

1. Your user has "Edit Own Items Only" checked
or
2. Your user is a part of multiple Joomla User Groups (ie, Superadmin and Registered) and is therefore restricted by the lowest group.

Please check these.

You were absolutely correct.
I had "Edit Own Items Only" checked for superadmin. I unchecked this box and I can now see the full records table.

It seems that one is the only permission check box where checking restricts access - that threw me off. I usually check all the boxes for super admin to grant all access permissions... guess it helps to read the definitions more closely. :P

Thanks!
