TOPIC: [SOLVED] Thank you message bug in 2.8.2a?

Installed 2.8.2a and ran through a test registration. When the thank you message is displayed at the end a transaction, looks like the generated html does not close a couple of divs for the message, and it corrupts the page.

Uploaded thanks page source files for 2.8.1 and 2.8.2a. A simple diff shows the missing </div></div>.

Let me know if I should open a ticket for this.

Did you re-save configuration after upgrading? Try setting the new print option "Give Print Option on Thanks Message" found on the first config tab to something different and see if it affects the page for you. Try it as both Yes and No. Try both, AFTER having saved configuration.

Just tried changing the setting for "Give Print Option on Thank You".
Set it to yes, and saved the config. This produces a print button in the upper left corner of the message, but the html is still corrupted.

Meant to add in the original post that the problem follows 2.8.2a install. Reinstalling 2.8.1 eliminates the problem. The problem returns when 2.8.2a is again installed.

Ok, we fixed the issue. If you download the DT Register package again and reinstall, you'll have the fix. Or you can manually replace the files in this directory:

/components/com_dtregister/views/message/tmpl/
