TOPIC: User Profile Integration

Under the general tab the only options I have are for User Profile Integration are Community Builder and No.

I want to have it integrate with the Joomla user profile as stated here:


Do I have to integrate with JomSocial or Community Builder to achieve this?

Also, is this what the manual is referring to as the Frontend User Panel?

User Panel
The User Panel tab allows you to edit the message that is displayed at the top of the frontend user panel.

In addition, you can edit the messages that are sent to a user if they cancel their registration, make changes to their record, or make a payment on their registration. Each section allows you to edit the subject and the text of the email message.

There is no integration with the core Joomla user directly. If you select Community Builder, it will pull the name and email address still, but you can't customize any further syncing.

The User Panel is a DT Register menu option that gives logged in users the ability to see full registration history... and then make changes, cancellations or payments based on what you have given access to.
