TOPIC: Prerequisite Events & Shopping Cart

I just updated to 2.7.15 and could have been having this issue before, though think it is new.

I cannot register for events that require a prerequisite event without having to checkout first and go back in and register again. So basically, events in shopping cart are not recognized during the prereq check. Prerequisite Paid Status & Prerequisite Attended Status are both set at No.

Is this new?

Was there ever a solution to this? I would like to be able to do this as well.
