TOPIC: Profile Sync (CB->DT) question/problem

Using 1.7 CB (free) and the latest DT Register, I've set up a date field in my CB Profile. When I "sync" that to a registration event, the date shows up in in YYYY-MM-DD format. I'm fine with that, but DT Register for some reason isn't and tells me the date format is invalid. If I click on the "popup" calendar in the event registration, it takes me to a seemingly random date in the year 2070. (The date picked up from the CB Profile is 2012-05-31).

In the CB config, the dates are set up as MM/DD/YYYY and they appear that way.

I'm comfortable with this being an error I'm making, but I can't figure it out.

We are aware that the sync pulls in the date format in the yyyy-mm-dd format. This is due to being saved that way in the database. We do need to tweak this a bit, but for now, you COULD modify the field in DT Register so it uses the yyyy-mm-dd format. That would allow the sync to work okay until that modification is made.

I'm ok with that and I did try that (it's on the general tab of the configuration page - at least that's where I tweaked it).

However, it still fails to recognize the date format.

No, the general config date format affects the display of the event dates. Each date field has it's own format setting. That is what I was referring to.

Solved! Thanks - I didn't think to look in there also.

Sometimes we get so many gears and knobs to turn it's easy to overlook one of them.
