TOPIC: [SOLVED] Upgrading Joomla 1.5 -> 1.7, Data doesnt show

I'm having problems in which the data comes in but I cannot see anything in the calendar.

i.e. in the Administration area, under Events, I see all my programs that I have created.
but the calendar page is saying that there are no programs:

Here is what I'm doing starting from the 1.5 site
- uninstall dt register
- backup dt register tables
- upgrade using jupgrade to 1.7
- import dt register tables
- install dt register

is there something i'm missing?

The original database tables had the prefix of jos_

The new database tables have the prefix of j17_

I've exported all jos_dtregister_* tables and imported them as j17_dtregister_* tables.

does anyone have any experience with this? thanks!

Already addressed this through a ticket... but replying here for others' benefit.

(side note to everyone... please do not post in a ticket AND in the forum. Pick one.)

This user had 2.7.5, then moved to 1.7 and then upgraded to 2.7.9 it seems. Per instructions, upgrade to 2.7.9 inside of Joomla 1.5... THEN migrate to Joomla 1.7. Otherwise, your data is not going to be complete.
