Do you plan to have a Plugin available for auto-subscription to Acymailing Newsletter accounts ?

I believe the ACY developers already made a plugin to use with DT Register. You might check with them.

Indeed, the plugin let you use DT Register tags inside any Acymailing newsletter. However, it seems that it doesn't allow you to add a check box for the registrant to subscribe to a newsletter on the event registration page.

The plugin works pretty well, however, when you have links in your eNewsletter that point to DTRegister registration pages (and you have Sef404 running), it won't go there.

Whereas when you have events pointing to Joomla articles for the event details, then the links work. I was doing some testing on this but had to give up due to lack of time. Most of the features work well so I think it's worth checking out.

I know this is an old post, but it doesn't look like the actual issue was ever addressed by AcyMailing plugin (by acyba team).

Is there any possibility we can sponsor getting the 'add to AcyMailing List' functionality added?

Or will you ever be upgrading the custom PHP ability plugin for DTReg to work with J2.5?
