TOPIC: Developer Documentation?

I'd like to create a unique plugin for DTRegister to extend the functionality.

Is there any documentation available for developers?
(Even just a data structure would be nice).

It also might be nice to have a forum area for DTRegister plugin devs to 'hang out' and share experiences and ask questions. (Or is this the place for that?)
