TOPIC: MyScript Plugin and Joomla 1.7

Hi,

I have just purchased the MyScript plugin. The only advertised requirement is, "DT Register 2.5.7 or later" but once purchased and downloaded, the included text file specifies Joomla 1.5 only. It seems to install successfully on Joomla 1.7 (admittedly with a language file warning) but does not seem to be working as designed.

Can you please verify if the plugin is supposed to be Joomla 1.7 compatible and if not, update the plugin page so you are not misleading purchasers.

We have not actually tested MyScript in Joomla 1.7. It hasn't been modified since 1.7 at all.

Are you saying that it's working for you in 1.7?

No it's not working. When I open the plugin, there doesn't appear to be a text box to enter anything.

Was going to be surprised if you said it worked in 1.7. We need to update it still. Will try to get that done ASAP. In the meantime, we'll update the plugin display to make it clear that it's presently a 1.5 plugin. Thanks.

Any idea on when this will be updated? I'm trying to determine a path for development and currently this plugin would fulfill our needs perfectly, otherwise we will be forced to develop a parallel component which is unfortunate..
