Hi,

I tried a few hours the demo version and read many things over your component but I'm still not sure, if this component is the best choice.

There are a few things that I don't like at the moment.

1. That for the moment repeating Events don't work. The homepage which I have to make has repeating Events on every day… But I heard that in version 2.7 this will work, I hope its true.

2. I want to see in the calendar view if the tickets are sold out. I don't want that the user must click 2 times to see that no tickets are there. Is it difficult to edit JEvents to fill in infos from the DT Registration database? Or is there something new in the 2.7 version?

3. Its not really user-friendly that you must click threw 7 pages and fill in 7 forms to buy two tickets of a event. Is it possible to put some forms together or to register only one person of a group?

When did the version 2.7 get out?

Despite all that it is a really cool component - and thanks that I have the opportunity to buy this component so that I don't must program it by my own

Thanks for your answer...

Hello.

1. Repeating events is not supported as of today... but it IS in 2.7 along with our fully integrated calendar. JEvents will no longer be required. 2.7 is due out in a couple more weeks.

2. Again... moving away from JEvents as we never wanted to get in and have to modify their code. On initial release, the calendar view will not show the ticket status, but we will be adding it shortly 2.7 is out.

3. The number of pages to click through depends on what options you have setup. If you have only one payment method, that page is skipped. If you don't offer both individual/group registration, that page is skipped. Your starting point makes a difference... coming from the module, the calendar, etc. If doing individual, that skips a couple pages in itself. You can have very simple to more complex layouts.

Overall, nothing else touches the full capability of DT Register for Joomla. Once 2.7 is out, it will be a complete blow out... even more so. Anyway... if you have other questions, let us know.

Sounds great. And of cause this componnt is the best at what it do, and what id do is the best. 8)

But I have still a question to the third point. When a person register 3 persons on the demo site (I want that group and single person can register) the first page he see is, where he can choose group or individual - he choose group. Then he had to say how many persons - he put in 3 and go to the next page. Then he must fill in 3 forms the names of the persons on three pages. After that he must fill in an other form his name, his adress etcetera. Then he comes to a page where he can check everything. And then he came to the paying methods. So I had 8 pages for 3 Persons - or am I wrong? And I think that some pages are not nessacary. For example why you can't say that you want to register three persons and the component see because of this that he wants to register a group so he don't ask him this anymore? Or why the forms of the 3 Persons can't be on only one page?...

Don't misunderstand me - like I told before I like this component but there is a thing I see which the users of my client will don't like.

I hope you understand me and can help me.

You are correct on the group registration process. There are different group registration options in the upcoming 2.7... such as the ability to register a group without having to enter details for each member. Hang on... huge improvements just around the corner! :)
