Okay, we want to know if we can have one team register for an event and add lunches for their members.

So Basically, the event is $350, lunch is $10 per person. So team 1 cost is $350 plus 5 lunches, team 3 is $350 plus 10 lunches.

I'm okay with setting up a seperate event for just the lunches if need be, but it would have to allow us to enter the number of lunches and calculate a price (if not, i guess we could put in an event type like 1 lunch $10, 2 lunches $20)?

Also, we have educational events where a team may be comming with 5 members, and a seminar is limited to 30 seats, how do we handle placing a limit when it is by team size, not the actual registration of the team.

Okay, i found my answer to the lunch question.

Now just wondering how we limit the number of students taking a class. So would we just define a custom field as the student count and then when defining the event, we would enter a Event Capacity of 30 students (using the student count custom field)?

Hello. Yes, lunches would be handled easily with a custom field.

Sounds like you need to offer both individual and group registrations. Then you can set the 30 seat capacity for the event. Then if a group registers and selects 5 people, it will count as 5 toward the capacity. An individual registration would always count as 1, no matter what custom fields you create in it.

You can take your lunch field and set it to apply to each member in a group registration so each member would have to designate if lunch was needed or not.
