This is fantastic! Thank You. Would that also mean that one individual could sign up for multiple events in one transaction? Or only multiple individuals for one event?
Thanks, that sounds awesome. Two last questions and I think I am covered for now.
- Will there be, or is there, the ability to set an auto-email of a csv file (that is filterable) so that your registration files would automatically be sent on a schedule (daily, hourly, weekly, etc)?
- Do you know how big a process the upgrade to 2.7 will be? Do I purchase now and start setting up registrations (I routinely have 5 - 15 event registrations running at any given time) or do I wait until 2.7 and set up then, save having to set them up twice?
There is no auto-emailed CSV export at this time. No plans for one either, for now at least.
You can start using DT Reg now. We will make the upgrade to 2.7 as painless as possible. We will certainly NOT expect people to re-setup any events or anything like that
The Custom Fields Overview video mentions that in 2.7 the ability to mix the default and custom fields will be possible. If I start making registration forms in the current version, when upgrading to 2.7, will existing forms gain this ability? Or will this feature only apply to forms made within the 2.7 version and forward?
Will there also be in 2.7 a Custom Fields Filter in the Fields >> Custom Field Options page? If you have 20 or so different entry forms for different events there could be an amazing amount of custom fields and the ability to filter them could be necessary.
We will provide a method of migrating all existing registration forms into the new format. Once all is finalized, we'll be developing a method of moving everything from 2.6 to 2.7. The whole fields structure is changing though.
