I'm very interested in your DT Register product since it seems closest to having the features i need.
Essentially I need an RSVP system that can:
Allow registration to an event to both registered users and non-registered guests
Not send some details until after their RSVP has been approved
Show (only to registered users) who else is coming to the event
I would like registered users to be autoapproved immediately whereas non-registered users would need to be manually approved. I think I can do this by using the paid option to act as an approval system since our guests all pay at the door anyways. If i were to set the discount amount to 100% for registered users, would DT register just automatically set them to "paid" on the account and send the "paid" email automatically as an approval email?
I have played a bit in the demo but I'm having trouble setting up an event on there to mirror some of the situations I'm describing in order to see if it will work. Or do you possibly know of a better way this scenario can be handled with your product. I'm hoping to begin work on this new system by the end of the week if DT Register will work for my needs.
- Registration can be provided to both public users and site members.
- Registration records are automatically given an "active" status registration. You can change it to pending or cancelled if needed. So maybe instead of putting the private info in the confirmation email, use our email registrants feature to create the message and send an email to all registered members of a selected event.
- You can enable an attendee's list PER EVENT... and you can set that list to be accessible to "Private" users... meaning they'd have to be logged in to your site to see it.
- status of a record will not be different based on registered or non-registered status of the registrant.
- If you set a 100% discount, no payment options will be given to that user. It will not be marked as paid though, but it will also not be marked at not paid. It will be a $0 record where a paid status is un-needed.
- You can create a customized email (including ability for dynamic email data tags) that is sent automatically to users when admin updates the status or paid status of their record.
- The demo site has been redone and cleaned up. To create an event in the backend there, you'll need to use the demo1 user (pw = demo123) and not an account that you created. Also, you should watch some video tutorials to see how things are setup and how everything works.
