A little confused. I am registering teams for a 3 - 3 basketball tournament -- just like the example. I don't understand the relationship between the registrant on the joomla site and the registrants on the tournament form. Does all the info gathered on the tournament form become part of the profile, like on CB? Or do I use the team name as the site registrant, and then the player names are stored as an entirely different set of data?

Same question with the credit card data? Does the username, etc., get re-used, or does it all get entered again.

Also, how does the single site regulation work. I only want a single site, but it will have two domain names pointing to it. Is that legit?????

Thanks! This looks like what I want, if I can just get it clear in my mind......

Site registration is for users to create a login user account in Joomla. That can be with the core joomla user system, Community Builder, JomSocial, or one of the other lesser used options. That is separate from DT Register and is not required. IF you don't need users to login and be a "site member", then don't worry about it. If you want to use features like member discounts, prerequisite checks, auto-population of event registration form data, user panel for editing/cancelling registration records, etc... you'll need to have the users create user login accounts... preferably with Community Builder or JomSocial.

Date from those user profiles can auto-populate into DT Register forms, but nothing that happens in DT Register will change or create user profiles in CB or JomSocial. No user profiles are created or kept in DT Register.

You can have two domains pointing to your one site. No problem.
