TOPIC: Upgrade price

Guys,

I see there is a new version out and was thinking about upgrading. Is there a discount for current users? In your email blast you indicated the price is going ump arch first but then there would be a discount for upgrades.

Also the price has gone up a lot the past year. When I got the extension originally at the end of 2008 it was $35. Going to 75 is quite a jump

There is no renewal price currently. As of March 1, it will be $89 for a first purchase, then $69 for a renewal.

No apologies on the previous price increases. It was way too cheap before and we simply couldn't afford to sell it that cheap with all of the time we put into it. Besides, other options are still more expensive... you can actually spend LOTS more money to accomplish everything that DT Register does. It is still well priced.

Also, the price has not been $35 since 2 years ago. Through most of 2008, the price was $50. End of 2008 went to $60, then $75 in April 2009 which it has stayed to this point. Thanks.

So if I wait a week I can save $6 I guess I should have been paying attention to the emails you have been sending out with the occasional coupons

Could not make it up on volume I guess, like the 9.99 dollar book at Amazon. I guess the addressable market for this is not that huge for joomla modules

Selling a book is not quite comparable. I doubt they spend any time at all in the sales process, answering questions about the book, or helping with support issues Depend is continually increasing, but with that comes more time involvement. Anyway...
