TOPIC: Sell Merchandise with Registration

Hi,
I am wondering if it is possible to sell an event T-shirt or other item when registering. The merchandise total would be added to the Registration fee for a total checkout cost.

Also, if there are discounts for Early Bird Registration etc., that discount would only be applied to the Registration fee.

Yes, you can add other items into the registration process using custom fields. You could do something like:

Do you want the T-Shirt? Yes / No

Then assign a fee of $10 to the "Yes" option, which would add $10 to the registration cost. Fees/discounts can be done with custom fields of dropdowns, radio buttons or checkboxes.

Early Bird Discounts and such have the option to apply to the base registration cost or to the total cost. You can do either way. Thanks.

You may want to look at the module found at http://joomlamo.com/joomlamo/products/other-joomla-extensions/dt-register-tally-fields.html This module will display the tally of people that registered and checked the t-shirt box.

It can also be used to display a tally of particular choices for one event. For instance a tally for each meal type chosen, or a tally of seminars selected by those that register.
