TOPIC: JEvents 1.5

Do you know if DT Register will work with the pre-release version of JEvents 1.5 (native). I know it\'s still in Alpha release but we love it and would like to go with DT Register!

Hello! Yes, you can use JEvents 1.5 alpha but you MUST use the legacy events option for now. Once we have a 1.5 native release of DT Register, you\'ll be able to use the iCal events, but for now make them legacy events. You\'ll be able to easily migrate them later to iCal events. Thanks.

That is great news! Legacy event mode makes sense since it keeps the events in the same table as before. Note to other users do not try to upgrade to jevents 1.5 alpha in production because it will delete your events. You will have to manually restore the event and category data if you do!
