TOPIC: Event Details link

I would like to use Mosets Tree (same extension used for the [url]Joomla Extensions Directory[/url]) for event descriptions and I'm pretty sure their structure does not use the default category and article structure.

Is there anyway to allow for an outside link to be used for event details? Is this a feature that can be easily added?

Hi

Right now you can only link through the details system to Joomla articles. If you would like to link somewhere else, you can use the event description area, even creating your own button to do so.

We can look into this feature, however, we don't have anything on the boards for it just yet.

On the other hand, if you would like a quote for customization, we would be happy to discuss the project.

Thanks for the suggestion about adding the link in the details. I will most likely do this.

Would adding an external url feature be a time intensive customization? Would I be able to update in the future? What sort of timeline would we be looking at?

We have so many features we are currently engaging in development right now, that it's difficult to put a timeline in place for them all. These aren't going unheard though.
