Hi,

If an event is full and there are a number of people on the waitlist, will a user-enacted cancellation trigger the first person on the waitlist to have their status changed (and be emailed) to active or is it a manual process? If it's a manual process, are there any plans in the near future to include this option?

For the wait list, as people are added to it is there any way for users to find out where they are on the list? I see people are able to view the list of attendees, but it doesn't look like there is the same visibility into the waitlist. If it's not possible are there any plans in the near future to include waitlist-ers being able to tell where they're at on the list?

Thank you.

Hello. Presently, the status change of "waiting" to "active" is a manual process. We hope to add an automated option soon. There is an automatically sent "status change email" so when you change it, they will be emailed of the change.

While users can see a list of registrants (if you allow it), there is no way presently to see the waiting list, or to know your spot in that list. We could certainly add this in future development. What would your suggestion be? To add a link within the existing registrants list? Or make a completely separate button / list?

Hi,

The automated processing of waitlist -> active would be a huge win for our situation. We're a thriving small business with 6 (potentially 9 in the near future) functions/classes per week which sell out and have long waitlists. Manually processing waitlist -> active would be quite time-consuming and off-putting.

Appending the waitlist folks to the list of registrants would be the best for us. It's a one-stop page of who is in and who is not, what their number on the waitlist is and would also allow them to see if their friends are already enrolled all without having to click around. Perhaps, for aesthetics' sake, the waitlist folks can be hidden via a little css arrow that you could click on to 'drop-down' the waitlist folk. It would prevent the list from initially being too long (though having it default to 'viewable'/'showing' would help us too). Most of our registrants are doing so via iPhone/Android now so scrolling down a long list isn't too much of a bother -- it's a quick finger swipe to get to the bottom of a list.

This would also help reduce the amount of time I spend answering emails about where someone is on the list and what their chances are of getting in. Again, this would be huge for us...

Thanks for the quick response.
