Hello dth, :)

I am really happy that Joomla has a great event registration component and I believe this will do what our company wants to achieve.

1. We are looking for online e-ticket system which will automatically send a confirmation e-mail with a ticket bar-code and a receipt to customers and vendors after successful payments through Paypal.

2. The event system need to be capable of collecting different additional info such as birthday, Fax, website, company and etc per event. so that each event will have a different registration form.

3. Email form needs to be easily customisable.

4. Maximum or Minimum tickets limit per event need to be configurable.

5. Customers can have their order history on our website on which they can re-issue their lost tickets by themselves.

Thank you for your help in advance!! :D

Hello. See answers below...

1. DT Register has emails that you customize that go to registrants as well as event admins. They can even be customized per event... and they use the WYSIWYG editor so they can be formatted, styled, etc however you want. DT can also generate a barcode image based on the unique confirmation number of each record. That barcode can be included in the emails. PayPal support is also included.

2. You can create as many additional fields as you need... and our fields have MUCH more flexibility and capabilities than any other "competing" solution! Then each event has the ability to select which fields to use for that event and how.

3. As stated above, you have full control over the emails that are sent out.

4. You can set an event capacity, your maximum. There is not however an event minimum. For group registrations, you CAN set the minimum and maximum size for a group. These figures are set per event.

5. Users can login and go to our User Panel to see registration history... and this has capability of allowing for changes, cancellations and additional payments. It does NOT presently allow for them to reissue their initial email. The admin DOES have the ability to resend the email though.

If you have other questions, let us know!

Thank you for the quick response.

here is one more question for you.

As you said, users cannot re-send their ticket through the user panel but they can check their registration history. I just wondering if the history contains a barcode in it or it is just simple text history for the past registration evidence.

Also, is there any update plan for the function on which users can re-send their ticket to their email.

Thank you:)

David.

The user panel does not display the barcode, sorry. For now, you might consider creating a simple form for a confirmation email request... post a link to this form in the customizable message that you can set above the user panel. Manual process, but the admin can resend it.

No other solution has more frequent updates with fixes and new features than DT Register... and those updates are driven mostly by requests coming from users. So we'll certainly consider adding this! We were already looking at adding a download and/or link option to give access to users in the user panel. Thanks!
