I'm considering purchasing DT Register as it seems to suit everything I need right now - and that's rare for an off-the-shelf component!

Just one question - if I use Google Checkout for payment, does DT Register take the credit card details then pass them to GC in the background or does DTR pass the user to GC so that the credit card details are given directly to them and I never get to see them?

...of course I'd also quite like to be paying for a component where I think I might have a tiny chance of getting the support I'd be paying for. Not really a good sign when a simple pre-sales question is left unanswered for this long!

Any (helpful) response at all would be good thanks!

Sorry for the delayed response! When using Google Checkout, all credit card details are entered and handled with a redirect to Google Checkout... not DT Register. Thanks!

Thanks for letting me know.

You might want to update your info on that aspect (unfortunately I don't recall the precise page) as it suggested that paypal was the only online payment option if you didn't have SSL on your site. This suggests Google Checkout (and others?) would be fine as well. I was also wondering when the mailchimp plugin would be upgraded to work with J! 2.5 ... but I should probably see if that's been answered elsewhere first.
