We want to use the payment system to pay for annual dues, and to pay for events.
all members should be able to login to the site and paid members should be able to access restricted areas. Also paid members should get a discount on events.
Can your system do this?

Hello. DT Register does have the ability to create Joomla user accounts during an event registration, but it doesn't include membership controls. If you want to control what user types can access certain parts of your site, you need to use an actual Membership extension. There are various ones you can find in the JED.
DT Register will of course handle the event registrations and payments. Any users that you have created (optionally) during an event registration could be manually set to a specific group in your membership.
