TOPIC: date format, views and links, mini calendar

a few quick questions I have about the product:
1) formatting dates: is it possible to format the dates in such a way as to include the name of the day (e.g. sunday may 6, instead of may 6 or 5/6)? I'd specifically like to do this for the event list view.
2) is it possible to link two different views to two different menu items? I'd like the calendar view linked to one menu item, and the event list view linked to another. I was unable to explore that option in the demo.
Actually, in the demo it was difficult to see exactly what was the "default" view, or if you could select a default view. I know the demo has the choice of a calendar view on the a side menu, but I'd like direct links to one or the other.
3) does dt register have a mini calendar we can include in a side mod position?

1) This is possible for the list view, yes.

2) Yes of course. DT Register has 6 different menu type options when you create the menu item.

3) No mini-calendar module at this time.
