Hi there

I am currently setting up a new Joomla based website for an upcoming conference, and need to install a plugin that takes registrations and payments. Your DT Register plugin looks great, however I have two quick questions regarding functionality.

Firstly, once a person has registered for an event, are they able to log back into the site in the future, and change their personal details?

Also, we are looking to use PayPal as the payment processor. How are cancellations and refunds handled? Does a cancellation of an event registration automatically arrange for a refund through PayPal, or is it done manually?

thanks in advance!

Hello. Yes, we have a User Panel where users can login and then see their registration history, make changes, cancellations, additional payments, etc... all based on what you setup/enable per event. To use this, you'll want to either setup registration to force users to login first, OR you can enable our auto user creation feature so users can create their login account at the same time as registering for the event.

Any cancellations or refunds are not automatically processed through PayPal. You'll need to manually refund money back to someone. Thanks!

If Jomsocial or Community Builder are also on the website will the auto user creation tool still work for those?

Conversely - Is it possible also to have a dual login set up to keep user logins separate from Event Registration (but still allow a login for just the events)

Thanks.

Alex - when you've setup to integrate with CB or JS, the auto-user creation feature WILL create profiles in CB / JS also. All fields that you have setup to be synced will get populated in the newly created profile from data collected during the event registration. CB or JS are not required for this feature, but work together nicely if you have them.

DT Register does not have it's own login. You login to JOOMLA... whether you use the core login module, CB, JS, whatever... they all do the same thing at the end of the day... they log you in to JOOMLA. So there is no separate login between Joomla and DT Register. Thanks.
