TOPIC: No event registeration

Looking into the limited options available to me reguarding registrations.

My Client Needs: customers can reserve a dvd due to be released on a future date and can either pay in advance or leave interest and pay at a later date. Ideally leaving address and contact details so they can be contacted when released to the general public.

DT register looks like a good option but all i need is a link from an article to the register process so the customer can reserve a one off dvd special. No events, or anything just a one off product?!

Is this the solution i am looking for?

DT Register is used for events registration... not video rentals. Sorry.

Do you think it could be modified to not link into events and act as a standalone registration process to cater for any website demand.

Possibly, but this is not something we can take on at the moment. As far as another solution, I don\'t know of a Joomla extension that would work for video rentals. There may be one, but I\'m not familiar with one.
