After viewing the backend demo a few questions have arisen:
1. Is the number of registrants displayed on the event screen? I'd like to be able to see how many people registered vs. how many open spots are left without having to count them on the "Records" screen or using the frontend.
I think that's a basic output that should be there but I couldn't find it anywhere.
2. If an event capacity is set to a certain number, will the person adding records manually (via backened) be prompted when the event selected has reached it's capcity or will it blindly add more registrants? In my opinion that number is set to prevent overbooking on both eneds - frontend and backened.
No response? I'd think that even with the amount of work that comes with a new release you guys would want to actually encourage people to purchase this component. Would hate to think how long it takes to get a response when it's not a presale question.
Hi Boneless - I'm just a user of the system. I think it's great - Just working it's way through a few upgrade issues right now after the huge jump to 2.7.0 which is awesome.
I can confirm that (1) is configurable - You can show, or not show, the number of attendees registered and also the capacity too....
(2) I'm not sure about. Haven't tried - So hopefully someone else can comment on that for you.

Hi, andybon and thank you for the reaply. I just want to make sure we are talking about the same thing - I know it is configurable and can be displayed on frontend, but can it be displayed on the backend as well?
oops - sorry - That downgrades my response to useless.... missed that - not sure about the backend views... I haven't seen it there, but maybe someone else can jump in here and comment...
boneless - sorry, somehow missed your post here totally... thanks andybon for trying to help
1. There is not a simple count in the backend. We are looking at implementing a "stats" type area in the backend to view all of that and more.
2. The capacity check has not previously been in the backend, but it's actually set for inclusion in the next build update... which will hopefully be out by tonight.
Thanks and let us know if you have other questions.
