TOPIC: Updates - DT Register 2.5.8 and DT Menu 1.5.4

Have you seen the commercial that uses the slogan "the best stuff just got better"? Well, that applies to the solutions from DTH Development too! DT Register is the clear leader for event registration in Joomla... and now with 2.5.8 released, it is even better! Then you have DT Menu, the new leader in menu editors for Joomla 1.5... we have released 1.5.4 making the best even better... again! Want more details? Here you go:

DT Register 2.5.8

* Fixed a few bugs related to some data saving issues and email data tag population
* Added a new Location Manager with full Google Maps integration. Now, there is another registration solution that claims a lot of things... one of which is location management. If you compare theirs to ours, try not to laugh. It's not nice You create your locations/venues and include as much info as you want from address, phone, email, website, etc. You can also upload an image/logo for that location. Then in your event, IF you select a location that you have created, it will be listed on the list of events just under the event name. You can click on the location name and a lightbox window opens with all of the location info including the image and an embedded google map of the address. Click on the optional link to send your users to Google for directions... or users can just stay right on your site with the interactive embedded map and get the info they need. Nice, huh? We thought so
* Added the option to display the time with your event date on the list of events. You can choose 12 or 24 hour format and also choose to show the start/end time or just the start time.

We had updated the DT Register package yesterday and it was labeled 2.5.8. If you have already found and downloaded the new package prior to this notice, please download it again and update your files to make sure you get a couple last minute fixes and adjustments. Your installed component should show a date of October 6, 2009.

DT Menu 1.5.4

* Fixed some miscellaneous issues that occurred in specific situations, but did not affect all users. Some issues were related to SEF, some to Legacy mode. All users should upgrade regardless of if you have a problem or not. The module and component have both been updated.
* Added the ability further style the menu item labels... giving new options for Italic and Oblique font styles.
