Yes, it is finally here... we have released version 2.3 of DT Register! While this took longer than expected, we trust you will find it was worth the wait. We have completely rewritten the component code as it was in need of clean up and reorganization after 2 years of ongoing development and changes. The main file of the component is now about 1/4 the size of the previous version. The 2.3 version has addressed some bug fixes but is mainly a new feature release. Some of the new features and improvements include...
* Improved frontend event listing with enhanced CSS for added styling options, optional event description, and category filtering. Also, the date now shows the range of the event, not just the first day.
* Category Management - you can now create event categories and assign your events to them. The frontend will list the events according to their categories.
* Improved payment selection - a user is now presented with payment options AFTER filling out the registration form. This enables you to have a paid event that can become free based on field selections, then skip all payment related screens.
* CAPTCHA security images now show on all events (if enabled)
* Confirmation page now includes group member details on a group registration
* Registration Records can now be sorted in the backend. Also, you can opt to view failed registration attempts where the payment was not successful. You can then have the person\'s contact info and follow up with them if necessary to resolve the payment.
* Ability to further customize \"thank you\" emails using tags to insert various data from the registration. This can be helpful to make the email not only more informative, but also more like a receipt. You can also specify different thank you emails for each event now.
* Tems & Conditions - you can enable a terms & conditions checkbox that a registrant would have to check to register. Clicking the link pulls up your terms using lightbox. There is a default terms and also the ability to give different terms for each event.
* Improved CB integration. The profile fields created for items such as address, city, etc now use the default \"cb_\" at the beginning of the field name. This is helpful for those who already have this info in use on their site.
* Various other improvements and fixes...
We are also in the process of updating our video tutorials as well as providing a full step-by-step user manual. We did not want to delay this release any further, so we did not wait until these support items were completed. Be watching to see when we make these available.
ALL USERS SHOULD UPGRADE TO THIS VERSION!! We will no longer be supporting any previous versions, so if you are having any issues using an older version, you will need to upgrade. If your issue persists, you can log a support ticket.
To upgrade your current DT Register installation, login to your account, go to My Orders and click the Download link. UNZIP the downloaded file and follow the instructions in the included ReadMe file.

Many of you are waiting for the 1.5 native version. We have been basing this off of the new 2.3 build, and since this build has taken longer, it of course further delayed the 1.5 native release. At this point, we are shooting to have the 1.5 native version ready within 2 weeks. Your patience is appreciated.
