TOPIC: New DT Register 3.1.5 Updates

As you know, we recently released DT Register 3.1.5 (and 2.8.16 for Joomla 2.5). Since that release, we've addressed a few smaller bugs and have updated the package for Joomla 3.x, now including DT Register 3.1.5b.

Items addressed in this update are:

- removed some debug that affected PayPal registrations.
- updated the upcoming events modules to allow for multi-category selections.
- fixed group registration issue tied to SEF URL usage.
- fixed issue where group registrations were not possible for the waiting list after an event was full.
- fixed issue where registrations that had an optional discount code would not be able to submit without using a discount code.
- fixed issue where searching archived records would hang and timeout.
- fixed issue where frontend records
- added missing language tag item for an alert when deleting locations.

Wondering how a nonprofit saves on Paypal Pro since our rate is 2.2% already on Paypal. Also, how does one get the $30 monthly fee waived - you said in the link that it has been negotiated with Paypal but no details on how to achieve this discount. Thanks.

spletcher - first, using PayPal Pro and taking payments directly on your site is the more professional payment method... and preferred to many users. Click the banner at the bottom of our site and fill out the form there. You'll be put in contact with someone from PayPal that can explain everything and answer questions for you directly. When setting up your account through them, they can waive the monthly fee.

ok- so that part that we'll get a lower rate doesn't apply to nonprofits if they are already getting the 2.2% however for others it may.

However, you are saying that folks won't have to get "redirected" to paypal to pay but pay right on your site?

If this is the case, do we need to get the https since we only have an http address?

You would be able to still have regular PayPal as an option if you wanted. PayPal Pro stays in your site though... and yes, you'd need a SSL certificate for your site.
