TOPIC: Can DT Donate...

Hi,

Because this is called a "DT Donate" I'm not sure if it can do the following as I assume a donation component is just to accept donations. A client is looking for a payment system that can:

1. Allow the user to enter whatever amount they want to pay?
2. Users can choose from a list of items to pay
3. Because payment merchants such as paypal charge a fee when we get a payment, can it add a % to the amount if they pay via paypal versus a cheque.
4. Can the user make a deposit
5. Does it allow discounts

1. Yes, users can enter the own payment amount. You can also choose to provide pre-set amounts.

2. Yes, you can have user-input amounts, pre-set amounts, or both.

3. You can add a convenience fee, but it is not varied based on payment method.

4. There is no deposit function as it is not intended for that. It is not a payment towards a balance due... just a stand-alone payment.

5. There is no discount function... again, that is not a needed feature based on what the intent of DT Donate is.

This looks like it can do what the client wants...just have to double check with them before I purchase.

Just curious as to what is on the list for the next update, and is it soon?
