TOPIC: [SOLVED] Weird character

I am getting something weird on the page and not sure where it's coming from but there is a "" on the page right above the "Please select if you would like to make a one-time donation..." area. What version of DT Donate are you using? If it is not the most current, please upgrade. We had reports of those weird characters in a previous version, but none in the latest 2.1.2. So, first, let us know which version you are using. Thanks.

I am using the latest version and also get these strange characters at the top. 

The same characters are appearing on my page: http://www.eng4earth.org/index.php?option=com_dtdonate&task=pre_paypal I'm using version 2.1.2 and have it configured for PayPal only. When I set it up for both PayPal and Authorize.net, the characters appear at the top of each page: http://www.eng4earth.org/index.php?option=com_dtdonate&Itemid=36 (I've got it set up this way currently for testing purposes)

When this happens, it is because these characters are showing on the very first line of your dtdonate.php file. Only some text editors will show them. Open the file in an editor that shows the extra characters, removed them, save the modified file and reload it over top of the existing file.

what type of text editor? I'm using textedit on mac which shows files in plain text and I can't see them. I've opened it in Golive also and can't see the characters. Thanks Mark
