TOPIC: [SOLVED] Donate and SSL issue

I just bought the component. At first I installed it and it didn\'t work because I didn\'t have the SSL certificate. I today bought the certificate and had it installed by my host. I can now access the site with https: but when I try to test the component in the check out it returns this error.

libcurl was built with SSL disabled, https: not supported!

Is this something with the donate component that needs adjusting or is it something with the host. SSL is installed. So I am not sure where to go from here

DT Donate works with or without SSL. Please submit a support ticket so we can look into your issue. Include joomla admin and ftp access so we can check it out and fix it. Thanks.

thanks for your reply. I contacted my host and they had to recompile apache and php. It is working fine now. Thanks
