TOPIC: Could not instantiate mail function 2.7.x

Anyone having this issue... please do the following:
- make sure you have the latest build which is presently 2.7.0g
- check config emails tab and make sure you have a name and email provided to send emails FROM. Also provide a frontend email notification address. If it's already there, re-save.

If you still have this issue, log a support ticket with full details. If you already have a ticket, please update the ticket to let us know the issue remains with the latest build. Thanks.

Same here, made sure that all are filled out:

From Name:
From Email:
Frontend Event Notification Email:
Send Notification Email When Frontend User: (Checked Creates Event)

And still receive could not instantiate error.

I have the same problem

If I proceed to the registration and pass some steps, and then I go to another page (just close the window), then return and start registration from the beginning, I get
2 or 3 (depending on the number of half-way interruptions) thank you messages, and "Could not instantiate mail function" above them.
The last complete record is correct, but those registrations which were interrupted have "payed" status and price set as 0.

I think some information remains in the session and goes with the last complete registration.

Quite unpleasant error.

I have the same problems and unfortunately after the registration process, the records are not stored nor counted back.

With 2.68 everything works properly.
I think I have to go back to the older version to be able to finally go online with any registration.
