Please help,
I have just upgraded to the latest version 2.7.0e

When a user is trying to register for an event everything works fine.
BUT
When they have clicked 'Next Step' twice, it then says:

'Could not instantiate mail function'

No emails are being sent.

Please help?

Regards,
Reders

Same problem here, on 2.7.x. The user sees "Could not instantiate mail function" with a success message below it, and I get an empty record created in the back end -- the name, e-mail and event fields are blank, so I can't click on it and glean anything about the person who tried to sign up.

:(

I had a similar problem but fixed it by going back into the email address in the configuration and retyping the address in then resaving the record.

That seemed to work and now the email is sent out to both the person registering and to the address set up to get the notification of new registrants.

Worth a try.

I really hoped that would do the trick, but no luck. :-( I tried re-typing the e-mail address in both the configuration and in the events themselves, but no change.

I verified that the site can send e-mail otherwise (through contact forms etc.) -- it's only the DT Register mail function that's not working.

I noticed the cart doesn't list the event either -- it has a blank spot for "Event" and "Type" (but it does list the price correctly). The info isn't coming through even at that point.

My site is running Joomla 1.5.22 and PHP 5.2.14. Can someone from DT Register take a look?

Laurie

Hi
I have the same error message after clicking on next step after filling out the registration details (group and individual registration) with the warning:

Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/cmwa/public_html/administrator/components/com_dtregister/models/user.php on line 1555

I'm running DT Register 2.7.0e.
