TOPIC: Errors installing 2.7

I have tried to install 2.7 using the instructions in the read me file. I get the following error messages

JFolder::files: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
JFolder::folder: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
JFolder::files: Path does not point to a valid folder or the folder has been deleted.
Error! Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package.

Hello. Sounds like you are using the wrong file. The package you have has the word "UNZIP" in the file name Unzip the package and inside you will find the actual install files.

Also, prior to installing, please download the DT register package on our site from My Orders as it has been updated just now.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I think there must be something else wrong as I am getting the same error. The install file I am using is com_dtregister2_7_0c_J15.zip, which I believe is correct.

Other messages when I attempt to install are:

These may assist is diagnosing my problem. I have installed and uninstalled 2.6.9 prior to trying this installation. Any other suggestions would be gratefully accepted.

I am getting the exact same error message. I'm trying to upgrade from 2.65. I uninstalled 2.65 and then installed 2.69c per the readme instructions. I then uninstalled 2.69c and when I try to install the com_dtregister2_7_2a_J15 component I get the following Error:
