Here is an answer from you. Actually you can look into the whole post for more details: http://www.dthdevelopment.com/index.php ... f=5&t=5998

My Q:
- Will the user be able to create his own "simple"events, with just basic information, without displaying the whole data he doesn't need? Like "Movie night"?

Your A:
As stated earlier, you can (already) control what fields are used PER EVENT. How simple or complex the form is is up to you.

My question was very straight and you can't say that was a confusion. I would like to know how I can do that in 2.7? How the user can define a simple event without all extra stuff for registration and also a complicated event where the others can sign up to.

Again, I am 3 weeks behind, waiting for your product to be released. In 3 weeks I could've customized JEvents and be done by now. You are responsible for what you've advertised and I am expecting you to deliver that.

Eugene - I know the 2.7 release has been bumpy for SOME users. We are working extremely hard to remedy the issues. We'll have another update here very shortly to resolve all known issues.

However, I do not appreciate you claiming that we advertise anything different that what we provide. It's totally false. As you now have two posts saying the same thing basically, I'm deleting the previous one. It's clear to see that we are working hard on this. There is NOTHING that we have ever advertised or answered in this forum that is not able to be accomplished.

If you want a simple form, just name and email for example, no problem. This has been possible with DT Register for a very long time... even more so in 2.7. In EACH event, you can say which fields are used. Go into your event then to the Fields tab. Mark the fields you want to use. If you only need two or three fields for that event, then only enable those two or three fields. Not a problem.
