Hi folks,

This is on a shared hosting environment through hosting.com, so i cannot physically restart apache. After the install, i went to Components > DT Register.

No matter what I click on, i get a blank screen with "done" in the status bar.

What can I do? I just purchased this and Im getting NOTHING on the component screens in the administrative section.

Thanks.

Rob

Created the directories that you told me to create, disabled the FTP, set the permissions on the folder, uninstalled, reinstalled, still getting:

JFolder::create: Path not in open_basedir paths

First of all, a forum thread AND a support ticket with all of the same info is not needed. We have responded to your ticket.

For others... here is the issue that is happening for this user:

"This is a PHP issue. When I turn on error reporting, it shows that the DateTime class is not being included, and it's causing a fatal error. You have version 5.1.6 installed for php and that has many known issues. If you can have your host upgrade you to 5.2.x, you'll be fine. It should not be a big deal at all to get php upgraded, and it should be done anyway."

The DateTime class is enabled by default in php 5.2.0 and later.

Sorry for the duplicate post. I needed a fast response.

Like i said in the ticket, they will not upgrade to the later version of PHP.

Is there a fix we can make to make this work? We really like your component and need it up and running.

Thanks

As stated in the ticket...

Well, if your host can't get you upgraded to a current version of php, that is sad and you should be considering a new host. Just my opinion.

However, we have fixed this on your site. The class that the older php was trying to use isn't really needed in DT Register anymore anyway. The next release of DT Register doesn't include it either. You should be all set now. Thanks.
