Hi all,

I'm using DTr v2.6.9 and Jevents 1.5.4

I want to use the DTR-JEvents hack in order for viewers of the Calendar to be able to register when they click on an event detail.

I've installed/patched an (I guess) older hack (it's the php addition you do in the template somewhere), this does show the text "click here to register for this event", but clicking it does not get my to the DTr module to actually register.

have a look at http://www.nwib.be click on the 16th of December and see if it works...

Anybody can help with this?

thx
Chris

Chris, as stated on the sticky post here in the forum... that hack is very old and has not been used for a very long time. You need to restore the JEvents file that you modified. Install our EventLink plugin and enable it. It will automatically add a Register button (or text depending on the plugin parameters you set) inside the details area of any JEvents item that has been setup within DT Register. If you setup any manual link to registration, the plugin will be ignored for that event.

Watch our video tutorial for this plugin.

Hi all,

I've removed the "old" hack in the php file.
I've enabled the EventsLink plugin, but do not see an automatic "register" button.

What am I doing wrong?

the site is http://www.nwib.be and a date for an event in DTregister is 16 december.

thx
Chris

Do you have the latest version of the plugin installed? An old plugin with the current component won't work. There is no bug with this function... so something isn't setup right. Check the plugin version. If you can't figure it out, submit a ticket.

Hi all,

I've been staring myself dizzy, and finally found the problem.

The plugin EventsLink was an older version.
Uninstalled the old version, and re-installed the new version.

Still did not work, until I enabled it (which does not happen automatically).

pfff, what a difference a day makes (and the possibility to register)...

thx for the help.

Chris
