I've got a client that would like to allow customers to pay whatever they want for certain events(essentially make a donation). I've tried setting the value to 0.00 but that just skips the whole payment gateway process. I know it's possible to set multiple price points using the custom fields, but she's looking to avoid that and just offer a "pay as you wish" option. Any chance this is possible? Thanks in advance, and thumbs up to you guys for putting together such a great extension!
This is not possible presently. You can setup to do partial payments... have the amount calculated then allow users to enter the amount to pay, with a set minimum. That's as close as you can get to what you are wanting.
Hmmm, that might work if I can hide/remove every place where it says "your total registration cost = xxx.xx" and change the "deposit amount" wording to say "pay as you wish". Whereabouts would I go in the code to make those adjustments(assuming that it's even possible to make said changes with my limited php skills)?
Removing that has been discussed in multiple other threads. Do a couple searches and you'll find it. Filenames and specific code to comment out is given.
Whoops, I should have done a search first . I found it and removed all of the "total registration cost, additional fees, etc" wording on all pages. However, on the confirmation page the price is still listed. For example; if the event was $100, it simply displays $100 without any wording. Is there a way to just hide this without throwing a rock in the gears? Thanks for all your help!!
