TOPIC: Issues with posting back payments on existing registrations

I have DTRegister 2.6.9 running on Joomla 1.5.21, using PayPal for all payments. I have IPN setup properly in the PayPal account, but I am finding that whenever a user makes a payment on an existing registration (one where they only paid the deposit initially) the payment is not being posted back to DTRegister.

Has anyone else run into this issue?

A quick search of the forum didn't show anything obvious so I thought I would ask here. Also, I have had a ticket open with DTH for a week now with no response.

Any help or thoughts would be appreciated as it is a pain to manually keep track of payments made on existing registrations and post them to the website by hand.

I have a similar issue with posting balance of payments. My users jump on to register for events (rv trips) early and chose pay by mail as an option to be sure to get one of the limited spaces available then they sit back and wait to see if they really want to go to the event as the months pass. what a pita. anyway when they jump back on to pay for the pay by check they use paypal or authorize.net and I have to watch for the payments so I can credit their accounts. I see that some times dtreg shows the money and no balance due but doesnt record 'paid' or adjust statics. I am kinda waiting for the new release of 2.7. I dont want to get in his hair seems like a big project with all the new features and constant updated of joomla and jomsocial. I was thinking of leaving a pdf for the member to mail with a check so I can just register them if they actualy pay by mail. I would bet that 50% of pay-by-mail actually end up cumming back and using a credit card.

There was an issue found when making payments in the user panel via PayPal... they were not updating the record in DT Register. That has been resolved. The package was updated a couple days ago to 2.6.9a so you can download that and update on your site to get the fix. Thanks.
