TOPIC: Help in offline payment

I am waiting on the new version, but i was wondering if you help me with the offline payment. I need to collect additional 3-4 information when the user choose mail in payment option at the payment screen. I don't want to collect that information in the billing section. Please help

or if that's not possible can then can i make a option in the billing section to choose payment type if the user selects paypal then it goes directly to the paypal site, else if the user selects mail in payment then they get additional fields. This way i skip the payment select screen, since i already choose the payment in the billing section.

Any help would be great. Also ETA on the new version.

There is no way to do this currently. The new 2.7 will not have this either, but we are looking at adding this type of option shortly after 2.7 is done. Instead of adding the payment choices to the previous page, we'll probably create it so you can add fields to show after you select Pay Later. No specific ETA yet... this month for sure. By mid-month hopefully.

can you customize this, i will be willing to pay.

We're not doing any customizations currently... HAVE TO finish version 2.7 and get it released ASAP. Once that is done, we'll begin doing custom projects again.
