I have recently upgraded to DTR 2.6.8e and my admin notification emails are now coming to me without carriage returns so all of the text is jumbled together in a single glob of a paragraph.

The same thing happened with my other messages during the upgrade but I was able to fix them. Where is the source for the 'New Registration Notification Email' which is sent to the administrator of the class? Or is there an option I have overlooked somewhere?

On a semi-related topic, I have to use PF5 (refresh) in Firefox to see the message text in the messages or the email tabs of both configuration and events. I am using Firefox 3.6.9 . Annoying as can be!

Cheers,
Ken

OK, I just realized that the admin notification emails only look this way (no line feeds) when viewed in text-based web mail. When I view them in an html reader such as Outlook email they look fine.

Still curious about why I have to 'refresh' to see my messages in configuration and event management though; if anyone has an insight.

Hello. Haven't ever heard of having to refresh like that. What text editor are you using? It is recommended to use JCE. If you can't sort it out, you could submit a ticket and we'll try to find out what is causing the issue.

Interesting. JCE does resolve the refresh problem. I was using FCKeditor (current release). I guess I just switched!

FCK Editor is nothing but a problem causer. I don't think I've ever seen it installed on a site where it didn't cause some type of issue. Personal recommendation... don't use it... ever. Why would you when JCE is free and much better anyway?

Glad all is well :)
