TOPIC: 1st 2 group members included. $125 for each add'l. How to?

I'm positive someone in the DTH community has worked through this. Looking for suggestion for best approach.

When an exhibitor registers, 2 people can enter the trade show event. Exhibitors are are allowed to add up to 4 add'l attendees at $125 per person. What's the best way to
1) capture name/email of the 2 "included" attendees
2) capture names, email and fees for add'l attendees

Is there a way, with group registration, for the 1st and 2nd group members to be free and have a cost applied to each add'l group member? Or is this too complex for group registration feature? Just looking for a little guidance from someone who's worked through this scenario. Thanks in advance.

This can be done a couple different ways... first, let me ask... are you setting up a separate event for exhibitors? Or are you having exhibitors selected via a custom field to get their 2 free tickets? Let me know your direction, then I'll give you appropriate suggestions.

Basically, you can have a custom field that is shown conditionally IF the user is registering as an exhibitor... you could have:

Do you need additional exhibitor tickets? 1|2|3|4...

Assign $125 to each level like 125|250|375...

I think you've already answered the question though. Instead of group regisration, use custom fields:
Your vendor registration admits 2 people to the conference as exhibitor/attendees. Please provide names for these individuals.

Exhibitors may register additional attendees at $125 per person.
Do you need additional tickets? 1|2|3|4...

Assign price baseed on number of add'l tiks selected above.

We'll have to manually add these attendees to the list of registrant records but would only be a minor inconvenience.
