TOPIC: email registerants fomr create broken links

Joomla 1.5.9 + DTregister 2.6.2

When I was trying to use the "email registrants" to communicate with registrants, i found the message sent out will change all links to relative links no matter what i put in the messgae body.

It is like when I open up the BCC messgae, all links look like "index.xxxxxxxxx", the site name( http://www.xxx ") was cut off automatically ...

Any one knows if I have done anything wrong and how to fix this?Thanks

Hello. This is due to your text editor... not DT Register. Any link created by your text editor is making a "relative URL"... meaning the actual domain is not included. You'd have this same result with a newsletter component and such. Your editor should have a setting for creating absolute urls instead of relative ones. That's what you need to change.
