TOPIC: Event username doesn't allow site registration?

So maybe this is already a capability and I have to turn something "on" but I am not sure.

But currently I have it to when someone registers for an event they can create a username and password directly through that event. Although, it does not send them a "Activation email" to actually activate this username and login, thus rendering the username not useable.

It their a way that when a user sets up a username through the event registration that they can get an automated e-mail that will allow them to activate that username and password?

No activation email is sent. The user created by DT Register should automatically be activated. If it is not, check the version you have. The current package is 2.6.8d. If you have anything earlier... update. If your user creation still doesn't work correctly at that point, submit a ticket and we'll check it out. No one else is reporting a problem with this though, and it works on our sites fine.
