I am on DT Register 2.6.8d. Joomla 1.5.15.

I have a conference that needs the following payment options:
Member Non-Member
Whole conference prior to 9/25 160.00 210.00
Whole conference on/after 9/25 185.00 235.00
Wed Only 60.00 75.00
Thurs Only 95.00 110.00
Fri Only 30.00 50.00

I have successfully created the registration form with custom and conditional fields for Members and Non-members. I did NOT put any pricing infomation under fees and discounts since i thought the paypal would pick up the fees from the custom field. I can not wait until 2.7 comes out to fix because I have a deadline in a couple days.

Does anyone have any thoughts how to accomplish setting up the payment gateway to accomadate these options? I need help urgently!

Right now I can register with the options I want but the payment gateway does not come up to pay. I get an email that I have registered.

Thanks in advance!

It is very common to set the base price as $0 and pull all fees from custom fields. People do it all the time. If no fees are being calculated, then you must not have something setup correctly. I'd recommend submitting a ticket with access to your site and we'll check it out.

Also, make sure you watch our video tutorial on custom selection fields and conditional fields. Thanks.

Oh, also make sure you have PayPal selected as a payment option. The record that gets created... does it show as free, or does it show the calculated price? If the price is calculated, then it's just using Pay Later... meaning you do not have PayPal selected. Be aware that all events use the payment options from the main config area UNLESS you set the payment tab in the event to "Unique", meaning you need to use different payment options specifically for that event. No matter what you select for payment in the event setup, if that tab is still set to "Global", it won't matter. Set global correctly and use that... and just use settings in the event when you need to do something different per event.
