I just bought and set up this component. Seems pretty awesome, so good job guys.

Am I just missing it or can you not get a register link on the jEvents listing? I'd like to be able to click register now from the calendar or at least the detail listing.

Also...

I see where you can connect an article as an event detail; is there a way to connect a K2 content item? This would be extremely beneficial.

Jake - you need to install and publish our EventLink plugin. This will automatically add a Register button in the JEvents details view. You can also manually insert the buttons in articles and such. There is a sticky post near the top of this forum category with full details on that plugin. You can find the plugin in the DT Register package you already have.

There is no K2 integration presently, although we do intend to add it soon. We're finishing a big new release right now so we'll probably be adding K2 in that release or shortly after. Thanks.

Hi,
I have a question related to this topic. I have read the sticky post for installing and activating the EventLink plugin but when I activate this plugin all I get is View All Events |. The pipe is there but the register button is not showing up.

Thanks in advance

last7 - then your event must not be ready for registration. Check to make sure it is published... check the registration open date (remove that date or set it back to prior to today)... check the cut-off date... anything that would close registration for that event. To use buttons instead of text, set that parameter in the plugin options.

The date range was the problem.

Thank you very much
