TOPIC: Non-fee field custom fields charging

I had a couple of custom fields that were charging fee even though the fee field check box was not checked. In creating this custom field, I must have copied a custom field that was a fee field and cleared the fee field check box. The fee was still altering the final price for the event.

Removing the fees from the text field fixed the problem.

Of note, now if I try to clear the fee field check box and save, it does not update and stays checked.

I have the same issues..... I submitted a ticket Aug 5 and 6 but have not had any luck since. I think its going to be a big issue. If I get a fix I will let you know.

The temporary work around is to clear the fee amounts from the text box. The price is not altered. I suppose you could just enter 0.00 as well.

I came across this problem as well - I could only resolve it by going in to the database (through hosting control panel) and remove the value in the fee field there. That definitely cleared it from the joomla backend and frontend.

I used that work around and found that the group register was still not working and ALL my fiels were 0.00

The easiest fix so far that worked was uninstall DT Reg and downgrade to 2.6.6 it works.

It must be something unique to group registration. I have no events that require a group to register. I have just individual registrations.
