TOPIC: possible to tax just certain custom fields?

I guess i could just add the tax to the item price or make a tax field that shows when you click on the actual item, but is this possible?

The actual tax feature is added to the overall registration... not certain fields. You'll have to add your taxes to individual fields. It just won't list as actual "Tax" amounts in the confirmation and such.
